Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain sales reports with key metrics like revenue, volume, trends, and product performance. Ensure clarity and accuracy through routine audits and visual formatting.
  • Analyze POS sales data to identify performance trends and strategic opportunities. 
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity in sales reports by auditing data regularly and presenting information in a well-organized, visual format.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategy, track industry trends, and identify new opportunities.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes through automation and enhanced data visualization.
  • Collaborate with teams to support business decisions and uncover cross-functional insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • The candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in a sales analyst or similar analytical role, showcasing their ability to work with sales data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated strong command of Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros to manipulate and analyze sales data effectively.
  • Experience in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or others. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills for handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively convey complex data insights to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior concepts will enable the candidate to contextualize sales data and provide deeper insights into customer preferences and trends.
  • Strong data analytics skills will be instrumental in identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities within sales data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Available for occasional travel within the US & Canada
