Join Our Manufacturing Team - This Job is OFF THE CHAIN!   We are looking for chain press operators at our Burlington, WI facility – no prior experience required. The right candidate is someone who enjoys a fast-paced, high-volume, production environment with a stable set of job requirements. This position is on 3rd shift, working hours 11:00 pm- 7:00 am (Sunday night – Friday morning).

3rd shift 11:00 pm – 3:00 am, Sunday night – Friday morning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.72 per hour

Work Location: In person, Burlington, WI

Job Requirements

  • Performing machine adjustments (startup, running, shutdown) and parameter adjustments needed to maintain part quality and production targets.
  • Performing minor servicing of the press, including, but not limited to, feeding stock, spraying mold, and removal of stuck parts.
  • Engaging in continuous learning of new skills and equipment to keep our process up-to-date and efficient. This includes cross-training to gain skills in other departments, as well as training others within your work area.
  • Recording and submitting accurate production and quality data.
  • Contributing to our safe environment by following safety procedures and making suggestions.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment, for the entirety of your shift.
  • Normal factory environment with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations (no controlled temperatures)

Additional Skills

  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to understand and use measuring devices.
  • Ability to perform the job and meet production and quality targets consistently.
  • Good attendance, dedication to work/company, and ability to learn from mistakes.
