Lavelle Industries, Inc. was recently awarded the “Making Life Easy” annual vendor partner award by Interline Brands. Candidates for this award display a unique understanding of Interline's vertical markets, processes and business requirements. They have exhibited strong professionalism, are proactive in removing barriers to growth and continue to identify new opportunities for service level improvement.
Interline recognized twelve award categories at a reception in Orlando on September 10th. Kathryn Turke, Vice President-Sales, and Megan Clifford, Sales and Marketing Specialist, accepted the award on behalf of Lavelle.
Lavelle manufactures molded rubber and plastic products, including the popular Korky® brand toilet repair products, and is based in Burlington, WI. Lavelle has been a long time supplier to Interline Brands.
Lavelle Industries, Inc. Receives National Certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise

Burlington, WI – March 19, 2009 – Lavelle Industries, a leading manufacturer of custom
molded rubber and plastic parts, received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise
by the Women’s Business Development Center-Chicago, a regional certifying partner of the
Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business
Development Center-Chicago is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the
business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at
least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.
By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations and
government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the
continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council is the nation’s
largest third party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the
United States. WBENC is a resource for the more than 700 US companies and

Syntex Rubber Corporation purchased by Lavelle Industries, Inc.

Lavelle Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of
custom molded rubber and plastic parts, today announced the purchase of Syntex Rubber Corp., a custom rubber manufacturing company located in
Connecticut. Transition plans are in place for maintaining the Syntex reputation of
providing quality parts and excellent customer interface. The sale of Syntex Rubber Corp. was the result combination of
market economics and rising material costs.

established in 1912, and has since earned a national reputation for
quality rubber parts. A

Lavelle Industries, Inc. Named Women Business Enterprise Star Supplier by The Home Depot®

Lavelle Industries, Inc. has been named one of The Home Depot’s Women Business Enterprise (WBE) Star Suppliers. To qualify for this award, at least 51% of the business must be woman owned. Having met this requirement, Lavelle was selected to receive the award due to quality, service, innovation and competitive value. 
The Home Depot will recognize Lavelle and nine other WBE Star Suppliers at a reception in Los Angeles on June 25th. The reception is being held in conjunction with the Women Business Enterprise National Council’s (WBENC) annual conference & business fair.
Lavelle has supplied The Home Depot with Korky brand toilet repair products since 1992 and has been certified as a WBE by the Business Educational Consortium, Inc. of Wisconsin since 2002.
The Home Depot is the largest home improvement retailer in the world and has over 2,000 stores. The company is based in Atlanta, GA.
Lavelle Industries Receives Taylor® Certified Supplier Award

Lavelle Industries, Inc. recently received a 2006 Certified Supplier Award by Taylor Company, a division of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration. This distinction is presented to suppliers who exhibit outstanding service and support.
Lavelle Industries, Inc. has been a supplier of molded rubber parts to Taylor Company since 2004. Taylor Company has been a leader in the food service industry since 1926 and is based in Rockton, Illinois. Its products and services are distributed worldwide.
Dean Denny Joins Lavelle Industries as Materials Director

Lavelle Industries, Inc is proud to announce that Dean A. Denny has joined the company as Materials Director. Dean comes to Lavelle with over 18 years of rubber industry experience in manufacturing, mixing, molding, defect analysis and analytical lab work, with an emphasis on proper rubber compounding for the plumbing industry. Dean also has extensive knowledge of the potable water industry from disinfection to certification.
Dean has many industry affiliations, including membership in the AWWA, the American Chemical Society and its affiliate Rubber Division. He is also the current chair of the NSF/ANSI Standard 61 Industry Forum Committee at NSF International and is a voting member of the NSF/ANSI Standards 60 & 61 Joint Committee.
Dean’s extensive credentials and plumbing industry experience are an excellent fit for Lavelle. As the Materials Director, he will further improve and support Lavelle’s position as a leading manufacturer in the plumbing industry.
