Lavelle Industries, Inc. opens in Chicago, IL with 10 employees. Today, with over 280 employees, Lavelle continues to design proprietary products and materials to meet the needs of the plumbing industry.

1990 |
Lavelle introduces Chlorazone®, the first chlorine resistant material used in plumbing applications and Korky Plus, the first chlorine resistant flapper with a five year guarantee. Chlorazone is a proprietary red rubber that resists chloramines added to municipal water as well as harsh toilet tank cleaners.

1998 |
Lavelle Industries receives ISO 9002 certification due to a strong customer focus and mature quality management system. Today, Lavelle is certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

2002 |
Lavelle is granted certification as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Business Educational Consortium, Inc. of Wisconsin. To qualify for this certification, at least 51% of the voting stock in a corporation must be owned or controlled by a woman or group of women.

Lavelle introduces the original Korky® toilet flapper, a product so revolutionary
that Lavelle’s sales force traveled the United States showing it directly
to plumbing contractors.
Lavelle acquires Hunter® Plumbing Products. The Hunter 528 toilet
fill valve is integrated into the Korky family of quality plumbing repair products
and renamed the Korky QuietFill®.
